She is thrilled to bring Spotlight Kids NY to the community she and her family have grown to love. Now that she and her husband are raising their two small children in downtown Manhattan, she wanted to give NYC kids like hers a glimpse of how creativity and passion can truly start at any age.

Tamryn’s love for community & passion for creativity still comes through in various ways as she participates in the community and within her children’s school. Tamryn’s teaching experience was rewarding in that she loved to share in her fashion experience and expertise to the next generation. To keep up in the industry, she started teaching at a local university. In 2013, Tamryn and her husband welcomed their twins. Re-teaching numbers that were not learned in class can take time away from learning the show for other students. Putting together a show is truly a team effort! Students that miss more than two classes may possibly be removed from musical numbers they were not in class to learn. Staff and students will be putting together a 60 minute musical and it is very important to have all students in class as everyone counts on each other. *It is imperative that all students attend all classes if at all possible. * Please make sure to add ALL dates to your Calander. There is also a mandatory dance rehearsal on April 29th from 12:30pm-4:00pm and a mandatory tech rehearsal on Wednesday May 3rd and Thursday May 4th from 4:30pm-7:00pm. When: Classes are on Tuesdays from 4:30-6:30 and will begin January 31st.
